Jindy's Cottage

Welcome to my eclectic cottage, close to everything and a great base to explore the local area.  It is a short bike ride or walk to the Atherton Rail Trail which links to the Mountain Bike Park, and the Atherton town and cafe's.

Consider it a home away from home, rather than a luxury retreat.  If you come again you will see the improvements over time.   It is a work in progress so please don't expect brand new everything!

It has character, a retro bathroom and polished timber floors throughout.  The sunroom to the north is perfect for your morning tea or breakfast looking towards the hills and watching the birds and butterflies.  There is a full kitchen with large fridge,  gas stove and oven.  The sink has a separate filtered water tap.  Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper and salt provided as well as a tea and coffee tray, milk and sometimes a few fresh herbs or fruit from my garden if available.

From the main bedroom (Queen bed) you look out to the peak of Mt Baldy and Yabi Mountain, both with great walking tracks if you feel like a leg stretch.  The other cosy bedroom has a King size bed.

There is also an office if you need to work quietly away from other guests.  Wi-Fi is available.

There is also a shady outdoor sitting area under a moss covered umbrella.

A washing machine, washing liquid, ironing board and iron provided.  If you need a drier it is only two blocks to the laundromat.

All linen, towels, soap, shampoo, and hot water bottles provided as well as a few fresh things from my garden if available.

The whole house is yours and the attached garage.  Access is via a key safe so you can enter any time after check-in time. 

Situation:

It is a short drive to the Tableland's many diverse attractions.

The area's legendary mountain bike trails are only a 9-minute pedal or a 5-minute drive away.

9 min walk to award winning IGA and cafes or takeaways.  

13 min walk to centre of town with more shops, bars, restaurants.  

10 min walk to heated indoor pool and library.
